Nearest oil futures prices decrease 0.45 % - 0.73 % on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, June 18, 08/ - By the results of trades of June 17 this year: - on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with delivery in July 2008 decreased by 0.45 % to $134.01 per barrel; - on ICE (London) price of August Brent Forties Oseburg futures fell by 0.73 % to $133.72 per barrel On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia's plans on increasing oil extraction continued to exert certain pressure which resulted in quotation fall. On the other hand, decreasing prices were affected the USA - the USA volume of industrial production fell by 0.2 % in May compared to April (earlier forecast - this indicator to remain unchanged). Besides, on May 17, the USA Ministry of Trade informed that in May house-building companies reduced bid volume on the market of single-family houses and flats by 3.3. The market, keenly reacting to changes in construction sphere took this information as an evidence of the USA economy recession.
