/REUTERS, Almaty, June 16, 2008/ - Output of copper in Kazakhstan within the period of January - May of 2008 decreased by 15.5 %, compared to the similar period of the previous year, to 149.870 tones, the Statistics Agency informed. Non-processed zinc production within the same period decreased by 2.0 % to 153.434 tons. Production of alumina increased by 10.5 % and made 700.646 m. tons.
