Nearest oil futures prices soar 0.26 % - 0.79 % on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, June 13, 08/ - By the results of trades of June 12
this year:
- on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with
delivery in July 2008 increased by 0.26 % to $136.74 per barrel;
- on ICE (London) price of July Brent Forties Oseburg futures increased by
0.79 % to $136.09 per barrel
On Thursday prices grew a little, being affected by quotations' increase on
June 11. On Wednesday the prices rushed upward pressured by the USA
Ministry of Energy data, according to which during the week the oil reserves
in the country decreased by 4.6 m. to 302.2 m. barrels, and fuel trade
reserves grew by 1 m. to 210.1 m. barrels.
Moreover, on June 11 the British BP provided the report, according to data of
which last year world oil production fell the first time since 2002. Oil
extraction in 2007 reduced by 0.2 % or by 130 th. barrels a day, at that, the
OPEC countries reduced production by 350 th. barrels. World oil
consumption rose by 1.1 % last year.
