Primary housing market prices decrease 0.5 % (3.9 % on secondary market) in May 2008

/Statistics Agency of Republic of Kazakhstan, June 9, 08/ -In May 2008
compared with the previous month on the primary housing market the price
of one square meter decreased in Astana - by 1.1 %, Almaty - 0.8 %. On the
secondary market, reduction in prices over the past month was noted in
Aktobe - 12.8 %, Astana - 12.6 %, Almaty - 9.6 %, Petropavlovsk - 3 %, Ust-
Kamenogorks - 2.8 %, Pavlodar - 1.8 %, Uralsk - 1.7 %. In other cities, no
change in price on housing market has been observed.
