Kiev BTA Bank to increase authorized capital in 10 times

/INTERFAX-UKRAINE, Kiev, June 6, 08/ - BTA Bank (Kiev) is intend to increase authorized capital in 10 times - to 1.5 bn. grivna, by means of additional shares issue on 1.35 bn. grivna, is said in the bank's official information. July 22 shareholders will examine the question on increasing of authorized capital. The bank plans closed offering of common shares with nominal 75 grn. from August 25 to September 15, 2008. BTA Bank OJSC was founded in 1992 and is strategic partner of Kazakhstan BTA Bank. According to Ukraine National Bank, BTA Bank on amount of assets took 71st place among 176 current banks in the country by April 1, 2008. By results of fist half of year 2007 the bank took 475th place among CIS banks and 88th place among Ukraine banks on assets volume in Interfax-1000 ranking, made by Interfax-CEA.
