State Statistics - Kazakhstan industrial enterprises production prices grow 8.8 % in May

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, June 5, 08/ - Prices on industrial enterprisers` products grew by 8.8 %, the Agency for Statistics informed on Thursday. According to the Agency, prices in mining industry grew by 9.5 % as registered last month, in processing industry - by 8.2 %, in production and distribution of electric power, gas and water - by 1 %. During the month, prices and tariffs on energy suppliers increased by 8.5 %. Their increase was observed on oil - by 9.6 %, oil products - by 6.9 %, natural gas - by 6.7 %, gas condensate - by 6.3 %, coal - by 3.7 %, electric energy - by 1.7 %. In metallurgy there was a price increase on ferro-alloys - by 49.8 %, roll stock of ferrous metals - by 11.1 %, copper - by 3 %, while decreasing on precious metals - by 8.3 %, raw aluminum - by 1.8 % last month. Prices on industrial commodities, made by domestic producers, increased by 2.6 %, fish - 14.6 %, vegetable oil - 7.3 %, bread - by 6 %, tea - by 4.6 %, wheat flour - by 2.6 %, cattle meat - by 2.5 % and sugar - by 2 % in May.
