Kazakhstan Parliament corrected budget-08, having increased deficit to 2.1% GDP

/REUTERS, Astana, Raushan Nurshaeva, June 3, 08/ - Senate, upper chamber
of Kazakhstan admitted amends in budget for 2008, supposing increasing of
deficit to 2.1% GDP from initial 1.4%.
Amend will come into effect after signing of the bill by Nursultan Nazarbaev.
Amends suggest increasing of budget incomes to KZT2.729 trl. from initially
forecast KZT2.694 trl., expenditures will also raise from LZT2.905 trl. to
KZT3.064 trl.
Deficit has been increased from KZT210.5 bn. to KZT334.4 bn. and will make
2.1% GDP.
The bill offers the growth of economic by 5.3% compare to 8.7% in 2007.
The budget was made up based on evaluation of world oil price in 2008 - $95 pr
barrel. Earlier this indicator made $60 per barrel.
Consumer price index is forecasted within 7.9 - 9.9%. Last year weighted
average inflation made 10.8%.
