Nearest oil futures prices surge 0.58 % - 0.70 % on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, June 2, 08/ - By the results of trades of May 30
this year:
- on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with
delivery in July 2008 increased by 0.58 % to $127.35 per barrel;
- on ICE (London) price of July Brent Forties Oseburg futures increased by
0.70 % to $127.78 per barrel
On Friday, oil prices grew on the background of expectations of a hurricane
season in the USA - the USA National Hurricane Center informed that a
tropic depression has been formed in the Eastern part of Pacific Ocean, near
Honduras and Guatemala borders. According to meteorologists, 12 to 16
storms and 2 to 5 strong hurricanes may occur this year near the cost of
Atlantic Ocean.
