/IRBIS, Vitaliy Tomskiy, May 26, 08/ - According to IRBIS, the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the period of May 19-23, 2008 on the primary GS market with the following results. Having paid off the notes for the amount of KZT42,536.6 m., the issuer borrowed KZT56,032.3 m. at one auction. Thus, the weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank, according to the results of the week resulted in plus KZT13,495.7 m. IRBIS estimates the weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers at plus KZT26,874.7 m. The "minus" sign in the balance indicator means the indicated sum was withdrawn from the issuer (issuers) budget and remained at investors, the "plus" sign - for the indicated sum means the issuer (issuers) borrowed more than paid.
