PAVLODARENERGO JSC (Kazakhstan) informed on the loan borrowing to the amount of $30 m. from EBRD

/KASE, May 21, 08/ - PAVLODARENERGO JSC (Pavlodar), securities of are included into the Special Trading Floor of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty official list, informed Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) by the official letter that on November 29, 2007, PAVLODARENERGO JSC signed the loan agreement with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the amount of USD30.0 m. for 10 years at the Libor +3 % rate. According to the company's message, the above-mentioned loan was provided under the program of reconstruction, modernization and technical re-equipment for the period up to 2013. The program funding sources are: the bonded debt placement, the company's own funds, and borrowed funds, including from EBRD. One of the terms of the program co-funding aimed at fulfillment of obligations is the transfer in pledge of EBRD of the part of the company's movable property. At present both parties are getting prepared to conclude the pledge agreement. [2008-05-21]
