Kazakhstan oil export decreases by 4.2 % in January - March of 2008/07

/REUTERS, Almaty, May 15, 08/ - Kazakhstan oil and gas condensate export
in January - March of 2008 decreased by 4.2 %, compared to the same
period of last year, to 14.894 m. tones, the Statistics agency informed.
Volume of oil and gas condensate export in monetary expression increased
by 60.7 % and reached $9.55 bn.
In 2007, Kazakhstan increased oil production with gas condensate up to
67.5 m. tons from 65.0 m. tons in 2006.
The total volume of Kazakhstan export increased in Q1 by 57.0 % in
comparison with the same period of the last year and made $15.78 bn.
In January - March the trading balance was positive in the amount of $8.7 bn.
