For the first 4 months of year 2008 volume of foreign exchange transactions on KASE totaled $24,554.3 m. and increased in dollar equivalent by 8.40%

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, May 6, 08/ - For the first 4 months of year 2008, the volume of foreign exchange transactions concluded on the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached the equivalent of $24,554.3 m. and has decreased relatively to corresponding period of last year by $1,902.2 m. or by 8.40% in dollar equivalent. In tenge equivalent the turnover made has increased by 5.21%.
