/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, May 4, 08/ - For the first 4 months of year 2008 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) made KZT6,204.8 bn. ($51,510.1 m.) and decreased compared to corresponding period of last year by 21.8% (by 19.5% in dollar terms). In 2007 volume of corresponding transactions on KASE made KZT25,700.6 bn.
