/IRBIS, Ruslan Dzyubaylo, March 5, 08/ - For the first 2 months of year 2008, volume of purchase and sale transactions with government securities (GS) made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including bonds of domestic executive bodies, totaled KZT120.4 bn. ($1,001.3 m.) and decreased relative to corresponding period of last year by 8.67% (by 5.10% in dollar terms). In the whole 2007 the volume of corresponding transactions with GS on KASE was KZT992.1 bn. ($8,065.7 m.).
