Company KAZAKHMYS PLC (United Kingdom) informed about visit of President of Kazakhstan to production objects of company in Zhezkazgan

Main objective of this visit was the discussion of importance of Corporate social responsibility and the role, which have to play both local and foreign companies in promoting of social development. Zhezkazgan was selected for this meeting in connection with the key role, which Group Kazakhmys plays in this region: this trip had showed the wide liabilities of the Group to local population, living around enterprisers, and also its impact in this field. It is the largest social program in Kazakhstan. During this visit to Vladimir Kim were asked the production questions, answering to which he confirmed, that in year 2007 production had coped with tasks, stated in September.
