Production of copper and sync in Kazakhstan decreased in year 2007, of alumina - increased

/REUTERS, Almaty, January 14, 08/ - Production of refined copper in Kazakhstan in decreased in year 2007, of alumina - had grown, the Statistics agency informed. The production of refined copper reduced by 5.1% to 405.843 tons, of sync - by 1.8% to 358.163 tons. Volume of alumina production grew by 2.3% to 1.550 m. tons. The biggest producers of copper, sync and alumina in the country, respectively, are the following companies Kazakhmys, Kazsync and Aluminum of Kazakhstan. [2008-01-14]
