Oil export from Kazakhstan grew by 15.0% in January - July of 2007/06

/REUTERS, Almaty, September 12, 07/ - Oil and gas condensate export
from Kazakhstan in January - July of 2007 grew by 15.0% compared to
previous year to 36.090 m. tones, Statistics agency informed on Wednesday.
Volume of oil and gas condensate export in monetary expression increased
by 13.7% and reached $14.89 bn.
Kazakhstan powers expect the growth of oil and gas condensate to 67.0 m.
tons. In year 2006 Kazakhstan increased the extraction of oil with gas
condensate to 65.0 m. tons from 61.9 m. tons in year 2005.
The total volume of Kazakhstan export in January - July increased by 23.5%
compared to the same period of last year and made $25.513 bn.
The trade balance in January - July was positive in the amount of $7.598 bn.
The major positions of Kazakhstan export in natural and monetary
expressions in comparison with similar indicators of last year are given in the
table below:

The main purchasers of Kazakhstan goods within this period of time were
Italy - 15.9%, Switzerland - 15.5%, China - 12.1% and Russia - 10.2%.
