Offering of a part of state shares of ENRC among population will take place in November -December - head of Ministry of finance

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, September 5, 07/ - Offering of part of shares from state stake of Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation Plc (ENRC) among population is expected in November - December of the current year, the minister of finance of Kazakhstan, Natalya Korzhova informed. "We hope that it will take place in fall, most probably, in November - December. But I am already afraid to promise any terms because ... not everything depends on authorities, on government. The fact is that the placement of government stake on Stock Exchange has to be preceded by a range of procedural moments, including auditing the company, paper work that would allow making the sale of these shares on Stock Exchange transparent and proper with regard of norms. Therefore, we hope we will prepare, and in about October - November we will start the work of explaining to population how the government stake of ENRC would be sold on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange", - she said in the interview to journalists during the break of round table with the participation of government members and business representatives, on Wednesday in Astana. Earlier, Ms. Korzhova named May - June as the possible terms of offering a part of shares from state stake of ENRC among population. As it was announced at the end of March, the prime minister ordered ministry of Finance to prepare 0.8% of ENRC shares for sale to population. ENRC is totally integrated group in the sphere of extraction and processing of minerals with own energy and transport enterprisers. The manufacturing cycle of the group embraces eight directions including exploring, extraction and processing, energy generation, logistics and marketing. ENRC was founded at the end of last year by reorganizing of Eurasian industrial association (EIA) and has consolidated the assets of companies Aluminum of Kazakhstan, Kazchrome, Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoye ore mining and processing industrial association (SSOMPA), Kazakhstan electrolysis plant, Zhayremskiy ore mining and processing combine, Euroasian energy corporation and ENRC Logistics and ENRC Marketing & Sales.
