On the first stage it is planned to connect more than 40,000 telephones in Almaty, which work according to NGN technology. The further development of city network will be carried out only according to this particular technology. Owing to introduction of NGN-network subscribers of outdated analog telephone stations will be changed to the new platform, by-passing the stage of using digital ATS, which will provide the opportunity for Kazakhtelecom JSC to optimize expenses on rendering services and substantially increase their quality. The project on construction of new generation network goes on. At present time the company completes the project on construction of multi-service telecommunication network on left bank of Astana on the basis of NGN. Besides, works on construction of NGN-network are carried out in Taraz, Karaganda and Pavlodar. It is planned to construct the network of new generation in Shymkent, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Petropavlovsk. On the whole the accomplishment of the large-scale project on creation of NGN network will provide the company's clients with the opportunity to get new information and communication services and will provide the wide availability of services.
