Kazakhtelecom JSC (Kazakhstan) informed about exceeding of the plan of telephones' setting by 20% on results of year 2006

By the results of year 2006 the plan on the given indicators is exceeded by 20%. At that the significant growth is reached in the fourth quarter of year 2006. In particular, in the first quarter of year 2007 Kazakhtelecom JSC was planning to set 60 th. 011 main telephone sets (MTS), actual was set 63 th. 522. The exceeding of plan made 3 th. 511 MTS or 5.85%. Compared to the same period of year 2006 the amount of setting of MTS increased by 7 th. 160 MTS or by 12.7%. By results of year 2006 the plan of setting was exceeded by 20%. During year 2006 it was planned the setting of 208 th. 813 telephones, actually was set 250 th. 280 MTS (119.9% to the plan), including of city network - 188 th. 56, to village - 62 th. 224. Compared to the totals of year 2005, was provided the growth of settings by 17,480 MTS or by 7.5%. At that the significant growth of the given indicator was reached in the fourth quarter of year 2006. for the mentioned period by subsidiaries of the company actually were made 72 th. 325 settings of MTS, including of city network - 52 th. 577, of village - 19 th. 748. The increase of amount of settings for the fourth quarter of year 2006 compared to the same period of year 2005 made 11 th. 19 MTS or about 18%. The most high indicators for the settings were noted in Western-Kazakhstan regional direction of telecommunications (by 66.2% higher than for the same period of year 2005), Karaganda RDT (by 47.7%) and Kyzylorda RDT (by 43.4%). As a whole, by the results of the last quarter of year 2006 in 13 subsidiaries from 16 was registered the growth of given indicators compared to the same period of year 2005. It should be noted that by the new management of Kazakhtelecom JSC currently is introducing the system of "unfailing servicing", realization of which in perspective have to provide the 100%-ge satisfaction of bids on telephones' setting, including of the last years. By the totals of year 2006 to those who in line since last time was set 73,505 MTS, from them on city telephone network - 56,933 telephones, village - 16,572. The stake of settings to them from the total amount of telephones' settings in year 2006 made 30%. As a whole amount of bids on setting of MTS as of January 1, 2006 made 277,336 people. In size of regions, the results of this work look as follows. According to data as of January 1, 2006 the biggest amount of people with bids on setting of telephone was registered in Eastern-Kazakhstan RDT- 49,929. In Almaty RDT - 34,531, Karaganda RDT - 24,459. The smallest amount of bids was registered in Zhambyl RDT - 1,884. At the same time the eastern-Kazakhstan subsidiary of the company in year 2006 made the biggest amount of telephone settings - 27,279. By the given indicators the second place received the city center of telecommunications (CCT) Almatytelecom with 27,035 settings, on the third place - Karaganda RDT - 23,139. Also the Eastern-Kazakhstan RDT in comparison with the other regional subsidiaries had made the settings - more than 11,000 or 40.6% from total amount of settings. Almost the same indicators are registered by the results of year 2006 in Western-Kazakhstan RDT - 40% and Pavlodar RDT - 39.3%. As it was informed, one of the priority directions of activity of Kazakhtelecom JSC in the frames of the Plan of company's development for years 2007- 2009, accepted by the company, is noted the increase of quality of servicing. For this aims, except the noted above "system of unfailing servicing", is processing the program of quality increasing of servicing the company's services consumers. For satisfaction of the current demand on setting of telephones, company also plans to use except traditional line-cable economy, the technology of wireless access WLL.
