Offering of part of state shares of ENRC among population will take place in May-June - head of Ministry of finance

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, April 10, 07/ - Offering of part of shares from state shareholding of Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation Plc (ENRC) among population will take place in May-June of the current year, informed on Tuesday in Astana the minister of finance of republic Natalya Korzhova. "Currently is working the phase-by-phase plant of introduction to Kazakhstan floor of securities of Eurasian company (ENRC. - IF-K). According to our plan these securities will appear in May - June. We'll inform the public", - she told, performing on the session of the Government. N.Korzhova informed that "currently is conducting the preparation", including the corresponding negotiations with other shareholders of. By his turn on the session of the Government the prime-minister of republic Karim Massimov draw the attention on importance of offering of the mentioned shares of the company among physical entities - citizens of Kazakhstan. "The principle question is that these securities go exactly to physical entities, and exactly citizens of Kazakhstan. And that they won't go to only hands. It is the main task which had set the head of the state", - K.Massimov stressed. As it was informed, in the end of March the prime-minister appointed the ministry of finance to prepare for selling to population of 0.8% of shares of Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation Plc. The pointed measurement is taking because the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, p-performing in the end of February with the every year message to Kazakhstan people had appointed the government with working of complex of measurements, stimulating the population for more active investing of savings into securities. By his opinion, each citizen of Kazakhstan have to actively participate in the work of exchange market. The holding company ENRC, which is registered in Great Britain and has the head-quarter in London, was created in the end of last year by reorganization of Eurasian industrial association(EIA). ENRC had consolidated the assets of companies Kazchrome, Aluminum of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan electrolysis plant, Zhayremskiy ore mining and processing combine, Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoye ore mining and processing industrial association (SSOMPA), Euroasian energy corporation and ENRC Logistics and ENRC Marketing & Sales. In majority of these companies the part of shares belong to state - Kazakhstan, because the production powers are located in the republic. ENRC is totally integrated group in the sphere of extraction and processing of minerals with own energy and transport enterprisers. In year 2005 the sales of ENRC exceeded $3 bn.. [2007-04-10]
