/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, March 7, 06/ - Joint venture Insurance company
London-Almaty JSC (Almaty) within listing requirements, has presented to
Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) the non-audited financial statements
for 2006. The similar indicator for 2005 is given in parentheses.
According to the presented data, in the indicated period the company's net
income was KZT2,798.5 m. and has increased compared to 2005 by
KZT2,695.7 m. (KZT102.8 m.)
According to data of London-Almaty JSC income from insurance activity
in 2006 totaled KZT2,976.7 m. (KZT465.5 m.) at its insurance payment costs
of KZT103.6 m. (KZT120.4 m.)
Assets of the company as ofJanuary 1, 2007 totaled KZT6,893.2 m.,
whereas at the end of 2005 this indicator was equal to KZT2,102.0 m.
Shareholders' equity of the company as of January 1, 2007 reached
KZT4,340.3 m., having increased during the year by KZT2,798.5 m.
(KZT1,541.8 m.). At that the amount of the authorized capital has not
changed and at the beginning of the year totaled KZT1,500.0 m.
