Within the first 2 months of 2007 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT4,069.8 bn. and grew 2.3 times

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, March 1, 06/ - Within the first two months of 2007 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT4,069.8 bn. ($32,500.5 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased 2.31 times (2.44 times in dollar terms). In 2006 volume of corresponding transactions on KASE totaled KZT14,345.3 bn.
