/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, January 5, 07/ - In 2006 volume of
corporate bonds purchase and sale transactions made on Kazakhstan stock
exchange (KASE), including initial offerings, reached equivalent of $3,015.5
m. (KZT380.2 bn.) and compared to the similar period of last year increased
by $1,299.7 m. (in tenge equivalent by KZT151.6 bn.) or by 75.8% (in tenge
equivalent - 66.3%).
In 2005 volume of corporate bonds purchase and sale deals on KASE was
the equivalent of USD1,715.8 m. or KZT228.7 bn.
