/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, November 4, 06/ - For eleven months of 2006 volume of shares purchase and sale transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including initial offerings and subscriptions on the secondary market through the trading system of KASE, reached equivalent of $1,775.9 m. (KZT224.0 bn.) and compared to the similar period of last year increased by $983.4 m. (in tenge equivalent 118.1 bn.) or 2.2 times (in tenge equivalent - 2.1 times). In 2005 volume of shares purchase and sale deals on KASE was the equivalent of USD1,040.5 m. or KZT139,1 bn.
