Within the first 11 months of 2006 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT12,649.6 bn. and grew by 70.0%

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, December 1, 06/ - Within the first eleven months of 2006 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT12,649.6 bn. ($100,726.2 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by 70.0% (by 79.9% in dollar terms). In 2005 volume of transactions on KASE totaled KZT8, 090.4 bn. ($60,848.2 m.). Following is the table of volumes of repo deals made on KASE in 2006 grouped by months as well as the structure of turnover and comparable data for year 2005 (m.
