/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, November 3, 06/ - For the first ten months
of 2006 volume of corporate bonds purchase and sale transactions made on
Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including initial offerings, reached
equivalent of $2,603.0 m. (KZT327.5 bn.) and compared to similar period
of last year increased by $1,262.1 m. (in tenge equivalent by KZT149.1 bn.)
or 1.9 times (in tenge equivalent - 1.8 times).
In 2005 volume of corporate bonds purchase and sale deals on KASE was
the equivalent of USD1,715.8 m. or KZT228.7 bn.
