/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, November 3, 06/ - For the first ten months of 2006 volume of shares purchase and sale transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including initial offerings, reached equivalent of $1,359.2 m. (KZT170.7 bn.) and compared to the similar period of last year increased by $680.0 m. (in tenge equivalent 80.0 bn.) or by 2.0 times (in tenge equivalent - 1.9 times). In 2005 volume of shares purchase and sale deals on KASE was the equivalent of USD1,040.5 m. or KZT139,1 bn.
