EIA had summed up the totals of operational activities of enterprisers for 9 months of year 2006 - press-release

/KASE, November 3, 06/ - Department of public relations of the Eurasian industrial association (EIA) had spread today the press-release with the following contention: Quotation begin Eurasian industrial Association (EIA) joining the big mining, metallurgic, coal-mining companies and energy corporation of Republic of Kazakhstan, had summed up the totals of operational activities of enterprisers for nine months of the current year. The finacial activites was marked by increasing of volumes of selling of products of the enterprisers of EIA (TNC Kazchrome, Sokolovsko-sarbayskiy ore mining and processing combine, Aluminum of Kazakhstan, EEC, Zhayremskiy ore mining and processing combine). By the pointed five companies the total volume of products selling totaled $1.94 bn., which is by 4.2$ more then the same period of year 2005. TNC Kazchorme had lightly (-2.7% or 722.6 th. of the accounted tons) had decreased the production of ferroalloys , which is explaining by season fluctuations of the demand. At that the Aksuskiy plant of ferroalloys (Pavlodar region) had significantly increased (+19.7% or 136.8 th. tons) the production of ferro silicomanganese, and Aktubinskiy plant of ferroalloys - of ferrochrome (+9.9% or 19.2 th. of accounted tons). On the Donskoy ore mining and processing combine it was extracted 2,621.6 th. tons of chrome ore (+2.3 th. tons), OM Kazmanganese (Karaganda region) had produced 286.3 th. tons of manganese concentrate (+16% or 39.5 th. tons). Very good indicators have Zhayremskiy ore-mining and processing combine (Karaganda region). It produced 366.2 th. tons of manganese concentrate (+26.9% or 77.7 th. tons), at that the growth of the initial concentrate totaled 42%, and of blown - more then 2 times. Aluminum of Kazakhstan JSC (Pavlodar region) had produced 1,143.5 th. tons (+1.9%) of alumina, 12.9 tons of gallium (+357%) and 1,360.7 th. tons of limestone. Company had extracted 3,719.2 th. tons of bauxite (+4%). On the Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoe ore mining and processing union (Kostanay region) was produced 11,627.7 th. tons of iron-ore raw materials (+30.5%) including 5,326.6 th. tons of concentrate (+54%) and 6,301.1 th. tons of pellets (+15.6%). The volume of extraction of dolomite totaled 335.8 th. tons (+11.2%). Eurasian energy corporation (Pavlodar region) had produced 8,471 m. kWh. of electric energy (+15.8%) and extracted 12,827.5 th. tons of coal (+11.1%).
