/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, title IRBIS, October 21, 06/ - Prime-minister of Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov offered to examine the ability of transferring International center of near-border cooperation Horgos JSC (Almaty region, Kazakhstan-China board) to the management of state Fund of stable development Kazyna JSC. D.Akhmetov "charged the ministry of industry and trade to develop the corresponding projects of resolutions on the meeting in government", passed on the last Friday, had informed to Interfax-Kazakhstan agency the source from the government. "Also fund Kazyna was offered to make a suggestion in relation to state shareholding of Astana-finance JSC together with akimat of Astana and Astana-finance JSC. As it is known, last Friday government had decided to transfer to management of fund Kazyna JSC the state enterprises Kazakhstan mortgage company, Company of life insurance "State annuity company", Housing building savings bank of Kazakhstan, Kazavialeasing. Along with the given enterprises, the source had noted, to the management of state fund it was decided to transfer also Kazakhstan fund of underwriting of mortgage credits, Fund of social insurance, Kazakhstan contact agency. Except these, he continued, during the meeting to the state agency of informatization and connection together with ministry of finance "were charged to finish the work on fusion of joint stock companies National informational technologies" and Center of informational-calculational for further transferring of new company to authority of Kazyna JSC. State fund Kazyna was founded in March 2006 and is the managing company, created with the objective of diversification of Kazakhstan economics by the way of coordination the activity of national institutions of development and realization of projects in non-charge sector of economics. At the present time in the composition of fund there are 7 institutions of development of Kazakhstan: state bank of development, investment and innovation funds, state corporation of insurance of export credits, fund of development of small enterprisers, center of marketing-analytical researches and company Kazinvest. Company Astana-finance was founded in 1997 and is non-banking financial institution, realizing separate types of banking operations. The main activities of company are aimed on development of financing (mainly long-term leasing, project financing, mortgage crediting) and making of capital investments in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) and separate regions of republic. More then 30% of shares in capital of company belong to akimat (administration) of Astana. Company has "Ba1" (forecast stable) rating from Moody's and "BB+" (forecast stable) from Fitch. [2006-10-23]
