Oil export from Kazakhstan decreased by 2.0% within January-August, 06/05

/REUTERS, Almaty, October 12, 06, resent in connection with corrections inserted in the text, and the previous block to be cancelled/ - Oil and gas condensate export from Kazakhstan within the period of January-August of year 2006 decreased by 2.0%, compared to the similar period of the last year, up to 35.452 m. tones, Statistics agency informs. Volume of oil and gas condensate export in cost expression increased within the period of January-July of year 2006 by 37.8%, fixed at $15.052 bn. Kazakhstan increased oil production with gas condensate up to 61.9 m. tones in year 2005, compared to 59.4 m. one year earlier. In year 2006 Government predicts growth of production to 63.0 m. tones. Total volume of Kazakhstan export in January - July of 2006 grew by 34.9%, compared to the previous year, and made $23.9 bn. Balance of trading stability was made up positive in the size of $9.6 bn.
