/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, October 3, 06/ - For the first nine months of 2006 volume of corporate bonds purchase and sale transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including initial offerings, reached equivalent of $2,334.0 m. (KZT293.2 bn.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by $1,177.5 m. (in tenge equivalent by KZT139.4 bn.) or 2.02 times (in tenge equivalent - 1.91 times). In 2005 volume of corporate bonds purchase and sale deals on KASE was the equivalent of USD1,715.8 m. or KZT228.7 bn.
