Within the first 9 months of 2006 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT9,278.7 bn. and grew by 50.1%

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, October 2, 06/ - Within the first nine months of 2006 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT9,278.7 bn. ($74,348.2 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by 50.1% (by 59.5% in dollar terms). In 2005 volume of transactions on KASE totaled KZT8, 090.4 bn. ($60,848.2 m.).
