In the first 8 months of 2006 volume of GS purchase and sale transactions on KASE made KZT396.4 bn. and fell by 10.3%

/IRBIS, Ruslan Dzyubaylo, September 4, 06/ - In the first eight months of 2006, volume of government securities (GS) purchase and sale transactions on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including bonds of domestic executive bodies made KZT396.4 bn. ($3,164.8 m.) and decreased by 10.3% (by 5.1% in USD), relative to the corresponding period of last year. In the whole of 2005 the volume of corresponding GS transactions on KASE was KZT631.8 bn. ($4,754.2 m.).
