Within the first 8 months of 2006 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT7,761.5 bn. and grew by 37.7%

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, September 4, 06/ - Within the first eight months of 2006 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT7,761.5 bn. ($62,336.5 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by 37.7% (by 46.5% in dollar terms). In 2005 volume of transactions on KASE totaled KZT8, 090.4 bn. ($60,848.2 m.).
