Within the first 8 months of 2006 volume of foreign currency trades on KASE reached $17,655.7 m. and grew 2.4 times in dollar equivalent

/IRBIS, Sergey Yakovlev, September 1, 06/ - Within the first eight months of 2006 volume of trades in foreign currency held on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached the equivalent of USD17,655.7 m. and grew by $10,418.2 m., compared to the similar period of last year or 2.4 times in dollar equivalent. In tenge equivalent the turnover grew 2.3 times.
