State holding Samruk will concentrate on realization of standards of corporate management, introducing the practice of borrowing and institution of independent directors in companies

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, August 29, 06/ - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on Tuesday in Astana had accepted the direction of Kazakhstan holding of state assets' management Samruk JSC - chairman of board of directors Adilbek Djaksybekov, executive director Saut Mynbayev, deputy chairman of administration Ulf Vakurk. During the meeting questions concerned current activity and perspectives of development of holding were discussed, it is noted in the spread message of press-service of head of the state. "We reported the head of the state that organizational stage is passed by holding Samruk. Now the objectives of the next stage are set - realization of standards of corporate management, introducing the practice of borrowing, system of combination of strategic and current planning, institution of independent directors and more else", - informed S. Mynbayev after meeting, whose words are quoted in the press-release. By his words, N. Nazarbayev "accented attention on questions of proper spending of means and development of the fund market". "The set tasks we will try to realize by the best way", - S. Mynbayev stressed. By his turn U.Vakurka after the meeting said: "I was invited to work here in Kazakhstan with objective that the tasks set to the holding Samruk were realized and that I submitted the international knowledge and experience to this work. Today with the head of the state were coordinated the tasks of next stage of development as for Samruk, as for companies, managing by the holding". Decree about creation of state holding Samruk the president had signed in the end of January of this year. Government had determined five national companies, state shares of which at the first stage will be given to holding: Kazakhtelecom JSC, Kazpochta JSC, KEGOC JSC (company of management of electric networks), NC KazMunayGas JSC (oil-gas company) and railway company Kazakhstan temir joly JSC (KTJ).
