Within the first 7 months of 2006 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT6,206.8 bn. and grew by 14.9%

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, August 2, 06/ - Within the first seven months of 2006 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT6,206.8 bn. ($49,740.4 m.) and compared to similar period of the last year increased by 14.9% (by 16.5% in dollar terms). In 2005 volume of transactions on KASE totaled KZT8, 090.4 bn. ($60,848.2 m.).
