Within the first 6 months of 2006 volume of repo transactions on KASE reached KZT5,040.0 bn. and grew by 20.4%

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, July 3, 06/ - Within the first five months of 2006 volume of repo transactions made on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached KZT5,040.0 bn. ($39,854.1 m.) and compared to similar period of last year increased by 20.4% (by 25.1% in dollar terms). In 2005 volume of transactions on KASE totaled KZT8, 090.4 bn. ($60,848.2 m.).
