Oil export from Kazakhstan decreased by 9.1% in January-April 2006/2005

/REUTERS, Almaty, June 12, 06/ - Oil and gas condensate export from Kazakhstan in January-April 2006 reduced by 9.1% compared to January-April of past year up to 17.238 m. tons, Statistics Agency informed. In value terms the volume of oil and gas condensate export in January-April 2006 increased by 30.2%, having reached $6.656 bn. In 2005 Kazakhstan increased output of oil and gas condensate up to 61.9 m. tons from 59.4 m. the year earlier. In 2006 the government is forecasting increase in output up to 63.0 m. tons. Total volume of Kazakhstan export in January-April 2006 grew by 25.0% in comparison with previous year and made $20.409 bn. Trade balance made positive $4.724 bn.
