Within the first 5 months of 2006 volume of GS purchase and sale transactions on KASE made KZT232.5 bn. and fell by 19.5%

/IRBIS, Aslan Juasov, June 1, 06/ - Within the first five months of 2006, volume of government securities (GS) purchase and sale transactions on Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), including bonds of domestic executive bodies made KZT232.5 bn. ($1,821.1m.) and decreased by 19.5% (by 17.4% in USD) relative to similar period of last year. In the whole of 2005 the volume of corresponding transactions on GS on KASE was KZT631.8 bn. ($4,754.2 m.).
