/KASE, 03.07.24/ – By decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) dated October 27, 2022, a new internal document of KASE “Methodology for calculating market prices of securities” (Methodology) was approved.

By decision of the KASE Management Board dated July 2, 2024, the Methodology takes effect from August 1, 2024 in connection with commissioning of the module for automated calculation of market prices in the KASE information system.

The methodology determines the procedure for calculation of market prices of securities admitted to circulation on KASE for the purpose of publishing these prices as an integral part of information about trading in securities held on KASE and the possibility of their use by an unlimited number of persons.

Calculation of market prices subject to the Methodology will be carried out only for securities of Kazakhstan with the main listing on KASE; if there are insufficient parameters (orders and transactions) for assessment, market prices will not be calculated.
