Effective December 23, 2010 common shares KZ1C53630014 (ASFL) of Leasing Company Astana-finance (Kazakhstan) removed from KASE official list
/KASE, December 23, 10/ - Based on a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Listing Commission, effective from December 23, 2010 common shares KZ1C53630014 (ASFL) of Leasing Company Astana-finance (Astana) have been removed from KASE official list.
In conclusion of December 13, 2010 by KASE it is said that the reason for de- listing of the mentioned shares are the following violations committed by Leasing Company Astana-finance with regard to requirements set in KASE internal document "Listing Rules" and the listing agreement concluded between Leasing Company Astana-finance and KASE. 1. Leasing Company Astana-finance has failed to meet the requirement as for the date of opening trading in those shares, set by item 4, Article 34 of "Listing Rules". According to the said item being in effect from August 25, 2010, "trading in securities admitted to the official list prior to these Rules' becoming effective must be opened within three months from the date of this item's coming into force. If upon expiration of the named term, trading in those securities was not opened, then possible de-listing of those securities shall be considered at the Listing Commission's next meeting". Trading in the said shares on KASE failed to be implemented, whereas the three-month term expired on November 24, 2010.
2. As of the date of preparation of the said conclusion, Leasing Company Astana-finance failed to provide to KASE an auditor's report on the consolidated financial statements for 2009, which is the fourth violation committed by the company with regard to requirements as to disclosure of information, set by the Listing Rules and the mentioned listing agreement.
Based on the above and in accordance with item 4, Article 34 and sub-item 5) of item 1, Article 19 of the Listing Rules, the mentioned shares have been de-listed.
The said shares were included into the second category of KASE official list from February 16, 2009.
