Slavinvestbank to purchase the controlling portfolio in Agroincombank and Omsk-bank

/INTERFAX-AFI, Moscow, December 11, 06/ - Slavinvestbank intends to increase its share in Agroincombank (Astrakhan) from 19% to 97%, it is said in the investment memorandum of Slavinvestbank by the time of eurobonds issue.

Slavinvestbank plans to come into agreement with shareholders of Agroinkombank about purchase of 77.93% shares of the bank. It is expected that the deal will have been completed by May 31 2007.

Besides, at the beginning of October Slavinvestbank agreed with Omsk- bank on purchase of 43.11% of its shares, as a result of that Slavinvestbank's stake will make 62%. It is planned to close the deal by the end of year 2006.

All three banks together with BTA-Kazan entered into Kazakhstan group TuranAlem in Russia.

Currently Kazakhstan bank TuranAlem owns 15.63% authorized capital of Slavinvestbank. The trustee manager in respect of 84.16% stake in the authorized capital of the bank is TuranAlem Capital LLC. By the end of year 2007 TuranAlem plans to turn its stake in the capital of Russian Slavinvestbank to reach 51%.

Bank TuranAlem by the results of the first half-year 2006 took the seventh position among CIS banks ad the second position among Kazakhstan banks in terms of volume of assets in the ranking "Interfax-1000", prepared by "Interfax-CEA".

Slavinvestbank by the results of the third quarter 2006 took 72-nd place in terms of volume of assets in the ranking "Interfax-100", prepared by "Interfax-CEA". "Agroinkombank" and "Omsk-bank" took 666-th and 244-th places correspondingly in the same ranking.
