KASE determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bonds market in Kazakhstan in November and within the period of the first 11 months of 2006
/IRBIS, Natalya Khoroshevskaya, December 5, 06/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined leading operators of stock exchange's corporate bonds market in November, 2006.
Companies are ranked according to the stake of deals made by it in total gross turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold shares). At that, only operations of purchase and sale in secondary market are taken into account, excluding work of brokers with government blocks of shares (GBS). Position of each participant of trades is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge.
A total of 36 companies participated in November in making deals in shares purchase and sale on KASE. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their stakes in total deals volume (all headquarters are in Almaty). Stake of these operators in November was 84.1% of turnover of corresponding sector of stock exchange.

Newcomers of the "active ten" relative to October 2006 became Financial Company Alliance Bank JSC, Alliance Bank JSC, APF of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, Investment Finacial House RESMI JSC and Perviy Brokerskiy Dom JSC, having replaced Halyk savings bank of Kazakhstan JSC (Almaty, third position in October), Financial Company REAL- INVEST.kz JSC (Almaty, sixth position in October), Kazkommertsbank JSC (Almaty, seventh position in October) and Almaty financial center JSC (Almaty, eighth position in October) and PAIMO Bailyk asset management JSC (Almaty, ninth position in October).
The table is given below, characterizing the most active KASE members of "P" and "H" categories in the specified sector within the period of the first 11 months of year 2006. 51 companies took part in making deals within this period. Stake of these "active ten" was 67.3% of gross-turnover of purchase and sales deals on KASE.
