/KASE, April 3, 06/ - By the decision of Kazakhstan stock exchange's
(KASE) Council dated March 31 of 2006 KZ1C47260019 common shares
of ASTEL JSC (Almaty) have been included in KASE's official "B" listing
category under ASTL symbol.
Date, on which the mentioned decision will take effect, will be announced
later after the issuer pays the listing fee for these securities (listing
agreement between the issuer and KASE has been made already).
Information about opening of trades in the shares on KASE will also be given
later.
Almaty Investment Management JSC (Almaty) acted as the financial
consultant of the issuer to bring the shares to the organized market.
The first share issue of ASTEL JSC was registered by the National Bank of
Kazakhstan on December, 4, 2001, and consisted of 4,000 common shares
with total face value of KZT4.0 m. The second issue consisting of 49,800
common shares with total face value of KZT49.8 m. was registered by the
National Bank of Kazakhstan on January 14, 2002, the third share issue - on
February 10, 2003, and consisted of 21,200 common shares with the total
face value of 21.2 m.
On March 15, 2005 the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for regulation
and supervision of financial market and financial organizations registered an
issue of announced shares of ASTEL JSC consisting of 85,265 common and
1,935 preferred shares, on August 11, 2005 - an issue of company's
500,000 common announced shares (including the previous issue). The
issue was entered in the State security's register under А4726 number.
The shareholders registers system is maintained by Fondovyi Tcenter JSC
(Almaty).
The primary activities of ASTEL JSC are communication services,
telecommunication network designing, setting of telecommunication
equipment and other activities, not forbidden by legislation.
