Shareholders of Exploration Production KazMunaiGas JSC (Kazakhstan) changed Board of directors

/KASE, March 14, 06/ - Exploration Production KazMunaiGas JSC (Astana, hereinafter - company), whose common shares are included in the official "A" listing category of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE), has presented to KASE a copy of the minutes of prescheduled general shareholders meeting, which was held on February 27, 2006. On the above meeting the company's shareholders unanimously excluded from the agenda questions, concerning approval of the company's charter in new edition, its code of corporate management and approval of decisions about conclusion of deals, in execution of which the company has interest. According to changed agenda of the meeting the company's shareholders adopted the following decisions: - to stop authorities of Nurlan K.Rakhmetov, member of the company'd Board of directors before time; - to elect as a member of the company's Board of directors Daniyar R. Abulgazin - managing director on economy and finance of National company KazMunaiGas JSC. Company's primary activities - exploration and survey works, development of oil, gas and gas-condensate fields; production and transportation of oil and gas; initial oil preparation and gas refining, sale of hydrocarbon raw stuff and products of its refining.
