KazTransOil JSC informed about results of its activity in 2005

/KASE, February 24, 06/ - KazTransOil JSC (Astana) today spread message of the following content: Start of quotation Passed 2005 is marked with positive indexes of production-financial activity of Joint Stock Company KazTransOil, considerably grew stability of the company and quality of provided services. In 2005 production program of KazTransOil was executed in full volume. By system of KazTransOil 38 m. 197 th. tons of oil was transported, this is by 4.4% more than planned level. Relative to 2004 slight decrease by 0.5% or 193 th. tons was observed, this is caused by objective factors. Turnover of oil in 2005 was 25 bn. 127 m. tons km, this more by 5.3% of plan and stayed at the level of index of 2004. Being owner of main conduit Astrakhan-Mangyshlak, KazTransOil not only provides with water industrial objects of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts, but also bears social burden, supplying with water people of these regions. Volume of supply of Volga water in 2005 was 18 m. 120 th. cub. Thus, excess of planed index was observed by 0.2% or 42 th. cub. meters, and also level of 2004 correspondingly by 1% or 116 th. cub. meters. By 22% volume of capital investments grew in comparison with 2004 (2005 - KZT24.4 bn., 2004 was KZT20 bn.). Setting into operation of 119 objects, also reconstruction of a number of sites of oil pipeline Uzen-Atyrau-Samara, system of external power supply Atasu and others was made. In nonproductive objects set in 2005 - 100-flats house in Akatu. overhauls repair of main means is made for KZT3.8 bn., i.e. plan is executed by 101%. Change of pipe of linear part of oil pipeline with longitude 142.4 km was made; change of insulating covering - 44.3 km; overhauls repair of power transmission line is made- 286.7 km, 4 furnaces and 5 reservoirs. A number of big projects is completed, including: with advance 5 months production-technological connection system (fiber-optic line) is introduced. At present - this is the biggest departmental telecommunication project on the republic's territory. in the of realization of Strategy of industrial-innovation development of Kazakhstan project Corporate geo-information system of main pipelines of KazTransOil is introduced, acknowledged by ESRI and Leica Geosystems as the best projects in the whole space of CIS. Important stage in improvement of Kazakhstan transport infrastructure, principally new export direction of transportation of "black gold" built in record terms, the first in the space of CIS countries export route of transportation is introduced main oil pipeline Atasu - Alashankou in China on December 15, 2005 was solemnly opened by the country's President N.Nazarbayev. As per efficient data by February 23 of the current year 124.45 km of pipe are filled with technological oil. Development strategy of KazTransOil and Development program of pipeline transport were elaborated and approved. Work on introduction of separate calculation of incomes, expenses and equipped means is maintained. In 2005 by the results of supervision audit international body on certification TUV Rheinland Inter Cert confirmed compliance of ISM to requirements of series ISO 9001-2000 and 14001-2004. In the current year elaboration, introduction and certification by standard ОНSАS 18001 Management system of industrial safety and health is planned. The company always is on the way to improve its activity, this positively reflected in its ratings as indexes of efficiency. In 2005 the Company's credit ratings of two international rating agencies Moody's Investor Service (to the level Baa2 with stable prognosis) and Standard and Poor's (to the level BB+, stable prognosis) were increased. In reporting year complex control was held by Antimonopoly agency for compliance of activity of KazTransOil with legislation about natural monopolies. There is no violation. Integral part of activity of KazTransOil is its social part, directed to creation of necessary terms of labor, qualitative medical servicing, increase of qualification of all the company's employees, and also successive and stable investment of different projects, rendering of charity assistance to indigent groups of population. In its activity KazTransOil keeps to supportt policy of socially valuable projects. The Company renders assistance to development of regions, particularly for rehabilitation of objects of social sphere of Western-Kazakhstan oblasts KazTransOil allocated KZT69.6 m. For realization of complex programs on improvement of sanitary- ecological situation, accomplishment and planting of greenery in Aktobe was allocated KZT25 m. One of priorities of KazTransOil is participation in construction of young capital Astana.
