Bank CenterCredit JSC (Kazakhstan) about results of its activity in year 2005

/KASE, February 21, 06/ - Bank CenterCredit JSC (Almaty, the Bank), whose shares and bonds are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "A" listing category, has spread press-release about results of its activity in year 2005. Quotation start Bank CenterCredit JSC in year 2005 earned net profit totaling KZT4,590 m. against KZT2,444 m. in year 2004. According to results of 2005 the Bank takes the 4th place among country's first ten banks by profitability of assets and capital. According to results of last year Bank CenterCredit's assets profitability indicator was about 1.9%, profitability of equity capital was 24% against 20- 21% of average among first ten banks. The bank's assets in the mentioned period grew by over 124% - to KZT333.3 bn. By the end of 2005 equity capital reached KZT36.1 bn. against KZT17.6 bn. one year before, grew by 105%. Last year the bank's credit portfolio grew considerably - by 126 % to KZT212.8 bn., also credits for population grew 7.5 times to KZT70.4 bn. against KZT9.4 bn. in 2004. Volume of the bank's deposit base as of January 1 of 2006 was KZT137.4 bn., of them term deposits - KZT99.2 bn., demand - KZT4.0 bn. Along with this, in year 2005 KZT645.5 m. were transferred to the budget as corporate income tax against KZT194.8 m. in year 2004. In 2005 the bank increased number of cash-settlement offices by 13, and as of January 1 of 2006 the bank's branch network comprised 19 structural departments and 110 cash-settlement offices.
