In 2005 KazMunayGas increased oil and condensate output by 5%

Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company in year 2005 outputted 9 m. 364
th. tons of oil and gas condensate.
This is more by 445 th. tons than in year 2004, the company's public relations
department said.
"Oil output grew due to new technologies of oil recovery increasing", - the
department's release says.
In 2006 KazMunayGas plans to output 9 m. 450 th. tons of hydrocarbons.
As it was said before, according to the state statistics, in year 2005 there
were outputted 51258.2 th. tons of crude oil and 10660 th. tons of gas
condensate in Kazakhstan, that is more, correspondingly, by 1.2% and by
21% in comparison with year 2004.
The release says, at Atyrau petroleum refinery (structure of KazMunayGas) in
the past year there were refined 3 m. 514 th. tons of oil, that is more by
20.7% than in 2004.
Volume of produced oil products grew correspondingly in the period: gasoline
- by 29.7%, diesel fuel - by 13.7%, mazut - by 43.3%.
In this year oil refining volume is planned to be 3 m. 400 th. tons.
The release says volume of oil transportation through KazTransOil's system
(oil transporting "daughter" of KazMunayGas) in year 2005 totaled 38 m. 197
th. tons against 38 m. 390 th. tons in 2004.
In 2006 oil transportation is planned to be 36 m. 650 th. tons.
In the reporting period, the release says, gas transportation volume through
trunk gas pipelines of Intergas Central Asia JSC (in the staff of KazTransGas,
which is in the staff of KazMunayGas) totaled 128 bn. cubic meters, that is
more by 6.45 bn. cubic meters than in 2004.
In the current year gas transportation volume, according to the plan, is to
reach 123.2 bn. cubic meters.
